Handheld Digital Shape Cutter Unveiled
Flagship product from craft innovator packs thousands of fonts and shapes in one small tool
January 28, 2007, Anaheim, CA - Tinnus Technology introduced the Slice™ handheld digital font and shape cutter today at the Craft and Hobby Association Winter Convention and Trade Show. Truly portable at only 5 inches square and less than two pounds, the rechargeable battery powered tool cuts and draws patterns up to 4 inches in size on a variety of media from sheer vellums to textured bazzills. Tinnus is giving live demonstrations this week at booth #551.
The Slice™ incorporates a patent pending design which enables production of large 4 inch die cuts with the extremely compact tool. It works with any size of media, including full 12 by 12 inch pages. Users can choose from professionally designed font and shape programs, or create customized patterns using their own personal computer. Tinnus founder and president Josh Malone described the Slice™ as “a balanced convergence of craft and technology.
